Antique/vintage five decade catholic rosary.
Rosary specifics:
* Beads: 8x6 mm brown ebony wood beads.
* Crucifix measures 1 3/8" in height. Crucifixes of the 1800s were often made of metal with inserts of ebony, a heavy and dense, jet black wood. This type of crucifix was known as a pillow crucifix because of the insert between the backing and the corpus.
* From the bottom of the cross to the middle of the third decade this rosary is 21" long.
* Crucifix and centerpiece are marked France
Good pre-owned condition, shows some signs of wear consistent with vintage condition.
